Brothers All Natural Fruit Crisps - Fuji Apple & Cinnamon

I dunno why Brothers is the "Mickey Mouse character" dried fruit company, but it clearly is. Minnie is cool though, so I'm into it. These apples are also a nice sweet treat. I think apples are one of the best dried fruits, the texture isn't horrible, there's enough "bite" on em. And the cinnamon goes great with apple. Plus unlike the weird tiny Halloween bags, this is a normal sized bag with like 10 apple pieces in it. Hooray!

Brothers All Natural Peach Fruit Crisps

This is definitely better than their freeze dried apple (makes sense, because peach is better than apple more generally), but it's still so very little content. Just totally airy peach bits, and you get like 5 of them. What the heck! Airy little cardboards that taste like peach. I know a better product is possible, but I'll still eat it 'cause it's tiny and it's there.

Brothers All-Natural Fruit Crisps - Strawberry & Banana

These were fine, but not very filling. There were also a lot of crumbly bits at the bottom, which is frustrating 'cause that's just wasted fruit crisps! It was also kind of messy to eat in general. I'm not sure which component I liked better of the banana and strawberry, but they do go together well. Maybe strawberry has the edge. Would rather eat a real berry though (duh).

Brothers All Natural Fruit Crisps - Strawberries

These were nice! Unlike the previous Brothers fruit crisps, this bag felt a little bigger (2 whole servings of fruit, they say) and therefore a bit more satisfying. The only ingredient is strawberry, which is cool. I like strawberries so I like this, even though freeze drying takes away the best best of fruit (the juice!). It's something sweet and pleasant to eat, and tastes like dry strawberry. The pieces were pretty small, but I think that's because strawberries are small. No real complaints about the product, it just has a maximum goodness level and they basically hit it here.

Brother's All Natural Fruit Crisps - Asian Pear

Although I like regular pears better than regular apples (not that I review "pear" or "apple" on this blog because both are obviously great, duh), these freeze-dried pear slices really tasted a lot like the freeze-dried apple slices. Just soft, airy, slightly sweet chunks. Again, I enjoy the texture, and the taste is certainly pleasant, but it didn't shout "PEAR!". Maybe because they are Asian pears, and I don't know if that's different than the .... Barlett? pear at my local grocery? Seems more likely that it's because they are freeze dried. Anyway, these are good but not very filling or super satisfying, although I'll always happily eat them if I have them. I think I like apple better just because it's what I'm used to, and I wanted MORE from this.

Brother's All-Natural Fruit Crisps - Fuji Apples

I know this is, like, a Halloween size treat, but it's seriously one of the smallest single-serve snacks I've ever had. There were like 5 slices of apple in here. That said, since I know there are bigger sizes out there, the taste and texture are great. These are just dried apple pieces, no sugar or anything else added, so they aren't too sweet, they just taste like a nice apple piece. They aren't chewy or especially crunchy either, it's like biting into a wafer but the wafer is apple. I like them a lot as far as dried fruit goes.
