Allergy Smart Birthday Cake Cookies

This company knows how to make a tasty allergen free cookie! I guess you could say they really are....allergy smart. Actually they do do one annoying thing, which is they have "vegetable juice" on the label, and it's like, would it kill you to say which vegetable? Cause it might kill me if you don't. But I assume it's never PEA JUICE (which sounds gross even without an allergy), and indeed, I died not. But anyway, they do have this one flaw. Otherwise, these are very crumbly, but they taste just like butter, sugar, and a little vanilla: no nasty artificial ""cake"" flavor at all. Tasty! But probably really bad for you. Nevertheless, very cute little cookies.

Allergy Smart Double Chocolate Cookies

These are quite good, even though I'm not usually a fan of chocolate things! They're a bit like chocolatey teddy grahams, but way messier (so dang crumbly) and also butterier. They taste like chocolate and not like gluten-free blobs, which is a rare feat. The texture is definitely weird; firm inside and crumbly outers, but as long as you eat over a plate it's no problem.

Allergy Smart Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Ah, the rare company who makes Top 8 Cookies that don't taste like Top 8 Cookies! A true blessing. Unfortunately, this particular flavor brought up some bad associations for me -- they tasted like these fiber biscuits (?) or laxative cookies (??!) that my parents used to make me eat as a tiny kid, which I associate with very bad enememories. But if I overlook this personal damage, they taste good, I think. A little cinnamony, sweet, raisin flavor. The texture is kind of unsatisfying, though -- they're very firm and crunchy, and I would prefer more sticky, chewy vibes, with more raisins and oat clumps. They also LOOK like digestives, in the American sense. Still, much better than other "gluten free" cookies. I like the brand but maybe not so much this flavor, as discussed.

Allergy Smart Snickerdoodle cookies

These were good! I admit I had pretty low expectations based on the packaging and my experience with top-8 free cookies. But no, these were actually good! They had a nice oily/crumbly texture, and the taste was actually really similar to these "cinnamon log" cookies my recently passed-away grandma used to make at Christmas time. So that's to say, they don't take like allergy cookies! These are a nice find! Also, my grandma was awesome.
