Terra Vegetable Chips - Original Sea Salt

Apparently "original" means "a variety pack of parsnip, sweet potato, taro, and batata chips", all of which basically taste like nicely oiled sweet potato chips, but which made me nervous because I've only eaten 2/4 of them before. However, I survived the new root vegetable experience! One of 'em has funky black streaks in it (I'm guessing taro?) which is extra disconcerting. I ate this after a medical procedure so unfortunately, that is the extent of my recollection. I think they were pretty good. But the bag was hard to open.

Terra Blues

I like Terra's spicy sweet potato chips, and the color of these makes them pretty  badass for a chip - but to be honest, I don't think I like blue potatoes, even though the color is very cool. They taste more like dirt and less like oily salt, which is what I truly want in a chip (even though these do have salt on them). They have a good crunch and of course clean ingredients, but the taste just isn't there for me. They were almost vaguely reminiscent of beet chips (of which I am NOT a fan!). If you love the "root" in "root vegetable", you might love these.

Terra Sweet Potato Chips

These chips were what I was expecting when I got the spiced ones! They're just plain chips. Plain old sweet potato chips. Crispy. Not too salty. I ate them all, but I thought the whole time "if only these were the spiced ones!". Hmph. Anyway, they're good though.

Terra Spiced Sweet Potato Chips

First of all, Terra is a brand of ant killer, so that name really threw me off. Anyway, I bought these looking for sweet potato chips and I didn't notice the "spiced", so upon first bite I was a little off-put. However, once I started eating these, I ate quiiiiite a few. They are snappy, they're a hard, crisp chip (thin though) with a nice flavor (apparently cumin, cilantro, and cayenne pepper). Just not what I expected, but they do taste like a nice pleasant chip. A little different than other chips, which is nice.
