Sugar River Cheese - Garlic Basil Prairie Jack

Well, I'm glad my mom liked this, because it was not to my taste!! It's very herby. I'm no Prairie Dawn I guess. The vibes I got weren't really garlic, or even basil - it tasted a bit like sage/thyme/rosemary/dill instead. Very savory. More like a cheese dip would taste than a hard cheese. I could eat a few cubes, but that's about it. However, I sent my mom home with the leftovers, post-turkey-day-cheese-plate, so at least someone might like this!

Sugar River Cheese - Havarti Dill

Apologies for the Used Wrapper photo -- like I said, this company does not have much of an online presence, so I had to make do. I wasn't sure I'd like a Dill Cheese for my usual uses of Pasta and Quesadilla, since dill seems like a "cold dip" cheese, but it actually was fine. Same melty vibes as other cheeses, and if anything a little better tastewise than the muenster. So I'm into it. It does look a bit gross though with all the speckles in there.

Sugar River Cheese - Pepper Jack

I didn't look into it super thoroughly, but I suspect that this company is one of those fake fronts, like the DoorDash versions of Chuck-E-Cheese or whatever. I couldn't find any evidence of it existing as a cheese-making institution. But, there was no mention of nuts on the label, so that's good enough for me (for American non-desserts). This is a good, solid pepper jack cheese, and it also works for melting (although it is very oily). No complaints, makes 4 nice servings.
