2021 Decibel 'Crownthorpe Vineyard' Sauvignon Blanc

The years march on, and so do the Decibel Sauvignon Blancs. This is the third year I've had, but unfortunately my memory is so shot that I can't make an accurate comparison for you, my dear readers. They did add in a little "Crownthorpe Vineyard" designation, which makes me lol. And Decibel is nut free so I'm always a fan. Sweet white wine, I think.

2020 Decibel Rosé

This was good! It's very pretty; a little of an orange rosé, and I trust the company and love the screwtop. Rosé can be too sweet or too tart and this was neither. More on the tart side, I think. Another 2-person 1-nighter, so it went down easy enough! No ramen for me though.

2020 Decibel Sauvignon Blanc

Ah, 2020 edition of this wine, which I tried the 2019 version of previously, you're much better than the year from whence you came. I went into this knowing that Decibel was safe and solid, so I enjoyed it even more this time around, feeding off of that safety! It was solid warm and cold, very consistent, bright non-fruity and not super acidic white. Very enjoyable.

2019 Decibel Sauvignon Blanc

I enjoyed this, on the whole! My first reaction was that it was a little sweet and fruity, like canned peach juice, but not super sweet at all. Not OVERWHELMINGLY acidic, which is all you can ask for apparently! So, I liked it. And then on day 2 it didn't degrade much, and in fact I think I finished 'er off in 2 days, which means it must have been pretty good. All the better is that it's nut-free confirmed via the makers, so I really really like that!
