Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Fruit & Veggie Soft Baked Breakfast Bars - Blueberry Beet

Ah, Nutri-Grain, the breakfast bar that is neither nutri nor grain (OK -- just kidding, it's got grain, but surely not nutri). I hate beets but I was hoping the beet flavor would be subtle here, and boy, was it! I didn't taste a bit of beet. The filling is just a thin layer of very sweet blueberry goo. The crust is prominent. It tastes like a sweet, less healthy fig newton, which is fine but not exciting. I do like the idea of hidden veg though. There's some sketchy "vegetable juice/glycerin" ingredos which I hope are not peas, but so far so good. These are fine but I would never seek them out.

Nutri Grain Bar - Blueberry

Yet more Ohio hotel brekkies. In truth, this made me a bit itchy?? But I was very hungry when I ate it, and so that's probably why it tasted better than the apple one. Ha ha.

Nutri Grain Bar - Apple Cinnamon

Ah, another hotel breakfast covid-snack. On the plus side, this didn't kill me. On the minus side, it's truly not tasty (IMO), and it's not healthy either! Deceptive! These are always around my life because they don't have nuts -- my parents got them when I was a kid, my boyf gets them, and I eat them at hotels, but they're so inferior to fig bars or basically any other bar-shaped snack that they frustrate me unduly.
