Pirate's Booty Cheddar Blast!

Whew. This has been a really rough week for me (not health-wise, actually, just work-wise) so I didn't have time to cook any food; I could only eat this entire bag of mediocre snack product. And now, review it. It is mediocre. Although they claim there is a Cheddar Blast!, I perceived no cheddar presence (which is good 'cause I'm not supposed to eat cheese). Airy gritty small plump puffs, they are a fine substance but not a pleasurable one. If you yearn for Star Trek food, check this out.

Pirate's Booty Crunch Attack!

These are in the Cheeto mold, and they were OK, but definitely not worth 8$ a bag!! The texture is a little bit foamy for my preference, and the taste is a light "white cheddar" flavor (similar to the normal Pirate's Booty puffs, which I think I prefer to these). It seems like a "healthy" version of cheese curls, but I'm not sure if it even is healthier. I also don't know how many is a serving. Many complaints, but it's a fine snack, just nothing special.

Pirate's Booty - Aged White Cheddar

I first discovered Pirate's Booty in college, where it was all the rage. Even though it's not so trendy anymore, I still think it's a great snack. They even have a sneaky line on the back of the bag that says "Made in a facility where nuts are NOT present" which I find delightful. The taste is good, a nice white cheesey powder on a very light puff. They're kind of in funny small twisty ball shapes, very unique, but they mostly just taste like a standard light cheese puff. A pleasant snack and safe for most eaters, plus a funny pirate logo. Who could dislike such a product?
