Crofter's Premium Spread - Seedless Blackberry

This is some top quality jam, for sure. I'm not sure how they got all the seeds out but I'm glad they did because normal blackberry jam has always been too crunchy for my preference. The texture is weirdly mushy, but that just means it's easier to spread. Less sweet than a standard jam, which I like, and no allergens or forbidden fruits. Kind of a mild flavor -- not sure I'd ID it as blackberry, but definitely some sort of berry. Very nice bagel topping. The bear is still cute.

Bonne Maman Strawberry Preserves

More like Mal maman, since it turns out this jam may contain chestnuts/walnuts, as per their website. If it said that on the jar, I wouldn't have bought it. Alas. But I've still been eating it since it's presumably cleaned between lines etc, and the sad thing is, this is a very good strawberry jam. Lots of fun chunky bits, definitely sweet and not too too sticky or wet. I'll miss it, but I won't buy a potentially fatal jam. Best to stick with a fully safe company, of which I know there are some.

Crofter's Peach Spread

This stuff is good! It's super thick, not runny at all, and it goes perfectly with a plain bagel. About one heaping spoonful is perfect for one bagel. It's sweet, but not overpowering, and the bear on the jar is adorbs. Makes me feel like I have a little breakfast friend (the bear). Lovely.

Braswell's Fig Preserve

This is a weird item for me to consume, but I got it as part of a recipe for ham and cheese toasties. If only I had access to Lender's bagels, I could actually eat the remains! For now, I can tell you that it tastes like sweet seedy jam -- certainly tastes of fig, but also a little bit of "peachy" vibe to it. It's also an appealing orangey brown color. Even better, the company answered my message and told me they are a nut-free facility! Huzzah! I should really get some bread or something to give this its proper due.

Smuckers Strawberry Preserves

This is some good jelly, my friends! When I'm sad, I just eat toast after toast, and this is the best toast-covering. It's sweet, but not too overly sweet. Not too sour either. Easy to spread, but still with berry chunks inside. I highly recommend!
