Laiki Red Rice Crackers

I don't know what I expected, but these sure are bland. A lot like a Triscuit, these remind me of a lightly salted basket. They aren't BAD or OFFENSIVE, but they aren't what I'd call "good" either. Better to have some celery or something. However, they are a low-calorie crunchy nut-free snack, in attractive packaging, with just 3 ingredients. I like the idea more than the execution, but if I had to say "yes" or "no" to the overall vibe of these, I'd give a mild "yes".

Hershey's Cookie Layer Crunch - Caramel

After the delicious mint selection from this line, I had high hopes! However, this didn't quite live up to my expectations, even though it's a candy bar I'm not allergic to so of course I baseline enjoyed it. The texture is fun, a soft outside with a bit of firm crunchy innards, but overall it just tastes like a thick Rolo or Carmello bar. Not a bad thing, but not special or super seek-out-worthy. I still have one more flavor to try though!

Boboli Pizza Crust - Original

I love pizza, and I'd be the first to tell you that all pizza is good, even if it's bad pizza. But this crust honestly makes me re-evaluate such a sweeping statement. First of all, yes, it is very convenient, and sturdy and easy to cook. So I see the appeal. But the flavor is too sweet, too doughy, and not at all the floury wonder I desire in a crust. I can make a better one by hand for the same price or cheaper! It's also really bad for you, which sure, it's pizza, but I don't expect a 1000+calorie crust, especially if it tastes not great. However, this is a fine vessel for delicious toppings, and if you need a premade pizza crust, this is serviceable.

La Croix - Lime

I am, admittedly, a couple of years late to the La Croix ("La Croy") trend, but I got there eventually, thanks to Amazon Pantry. Anyway, I get the hype. These are really refreshing, feel good on a sore throat, 0 calories, easy hydration on the go, etc etc. I guess the innovation here is popping flavored sparkling water into a single-serve can instead of a huge bottle, but it was on point. I'll probably get another flavor next time I go to the store, even though it makes me feel a bit like a tool.

Good Thins - The Potato One (Sweet Potato)

I didn't really know what to expect going into these! My friend really likes the Oat One, but those are very different from these. These have the texture of a popped chip, but the taste of a sweet, milder sweet potato chip. They have a light dusting of sugar, but not too much. The taste is actually really nice! I'm not sure that these are especially healthy, but even so, they taste better than most potato chips I've had. It's weird to eat them out of a box, though. But a very pleasant, smooth, still-sweet-potatoey flavor. I'm into it!

Mrs Thinsters Cookie Thins - Chocolate Chip

These are pretty darn tasty! And they advertise their peanut-allergy-friendliness right on the front of the package, which is super sweet, considering they still have egg and wheat and milk (i.e. normal chocolate chip cookie ingredients), so they taste like a real cookie. I'm not sure that they're any healthier than a regular chocolate chip cookie, I think they're just smaller/thinner, but that's good too. They taste kind of like a Pepperidge Farm Nantucket cookie, but crunchier because they're thin, and also butterier (which is good!). I'm happy I tried these and I'll probably get them or another flavor again if I see them around!
