Smart Ones Lasagna with Meat Sauce

Thinking back, this meal was completely un-memorable. I mean...I really don't remember it at all. Yikes. I think it was all right. It was pretty decent sized, and the cheese was good. The noodles were kind of watery. The sauce wasn't very meaty. The filler cheese was kind of pasty. It was OK...I think?

Acme Country Trio Vegetables

I am constantly on the quest for a good frozen veggie pack. This one is allright, but it isn't amazing. It's got a lot of corn, some carrots and green beans. The corn isn't great, though, it's a bit mushy and tasteless. Too bad, because I like these 3 vegetables and it still tastes pretty good with various noodles and rices.

Knorr Cheesy Cheddar Pasta Sides

Yum-o! This is a classic noodle pak, and it's one of my old favorites. It's just noodles and cheddary cheese, kind of like mac and cheese is supposed to be, but this is waaaaay better. Oh, it's so good. It's really very good! I like it so much! It goes great with veggies. It goes great with everything.

Classico Roasted Garlic Alfredo Sauce

This is my first time trying jarred white sauce, and it wasn't as great as I was hoping. I put in some broccoli and garlic and it was OK, but not great. It tasted a lot like re-heated restaurant alfredo, which is OK but not what I want from my home-cooked(jarrred) sauce. So I probably will continue to make my own from scratch. This didn't have a particular flavor, just thick cheese-ish goo. Meh.

Terra Sweet Potato Chips

These chips were what I was expecting when I got the spiced ones! They're just plain chips. Plain old sweet potato chips. Crispy. Not too salty. I ate them all, but I thought the whole time "if only these were the spiced ones!". Hmph. Anyway, they're good though.

Gimbal's Sour Bunnies

These sour bunnies are pretty good! They're totally peanut free, and I like that a lot. They're also cute, but also -- they're really sour. I mean woah! There are 4 flavors, green, blue, red, and pink, and they're all pretty good - they also hurt my teeth a lot, but the flavor underneath the sour is good. I'm not a huge gummy fan, but I DID eat them all, so...

Francesco Rinaldi Three Cheese Sauce

Working my way thru these FR sauces, since they are still an amazing price at my grocery and they're my favorite sauce overall so far! This one is pretty good -- it's definitely cheese tasting, which seems like a little much if you sprinkle additional cheese on it or something, but it's pretty good.

Mama Mae's Beef Short Ribs

I ate these after a meatless march, so that was satisfying, but really they weren't that good. First of all, these definitely won't serve two; it hardly served one me! Come on! There's like 4 meat chunks in there. And the sauce is very tomatoey or sweet or something that I didn't really like and didn't expect. Weird stuff. I still ate them all of course. The meat itself is good quality and texture, and I kind of got into it, but I really didn't love the sauce.

Ben & Jerry's Greek Blueberry Vanilla Graham

Another B&Js Greek attempt! I like this one better than the raspberry, but it still isn't earth-shattering. The vanilla/blueberry yogurt is strong and tastes good, but not Amazing. The graham swirl is really good, but there isn't enough of it! (In my opinion). Maybe if there were chunks of blueberries or something I would like this better, but it's just a little boring.

Kildare's Irish pub

Mmm. I love Kildare's because it's right across from my department, but it's also just a chill and big place and the food is generally really good, OK?

Roast Beef pubwich: Tasty...hard to eat since the roast beef is really chewy and thick, but it tasted good! With fruit plate is extra good ;) 6/10

Irish Melty Chicken pubwich: really really good -- its in a pita, but it isn't healthy! haha. Very nice. Chips are OK and didn't kill me! 8/10

Mushroom Swiss Burger: ef yes it's so good! the fries didn't kill me either, but I actually like the fruit better. Anyways, this is a big and delicious burger and it's half-price on tuesdays. mm. 8/10

PRETZEL TOWER: Disgusting but somehow you want to eat it. Especially the cheese sauce. D:

BBQ Chicken Flatbread pizza: it's OK, but I'm getting kind of sick of it. Still, a solid food. 6 small wedges, green onions, bbq sauce, chicken. it's good.

It's a lot bigger and more like a restaurant than I expected. Ok, I had a lot of conflicting expectations about this place because Kati likes it so much which made me nervous to not like it. I don't love it yet, but I see the appeal and think the menu has a lot of things I'd like to try. I got a buffalo chicken sandwich and it wasn't that great (not very buffalo-y, just like a fried chicken bit, also very big and messy) but I liked the potato chips and pickle that came with it. I had a lemon-tasting beer that I forget the name of (ed -- Leinenkugel) and it was the highlight for me. I also like that Kati having tried all the beer means she can pick them for me. I'll surely get to spend a lot of time here this summer and I think with me being more hungry and picking a better dish I'd be super excited about it too. 7/10
