Sargento Light String Cheese

You might think that a name brand string cheese such as this would have a superior taste & texture to a store brand, but in fact you would be wrong! I have sampled many a string cheese over the years, and they're all pretty enjoyable, but this is maybe my least favorite one yet. Granted, they are "light", so you can't expect too much, but there are other light string cheeses (Polly-O, Kraft, America's Choice) that have a way more satisfying peel. The problem with these Sargentos is that you only can peel about 4 chunky strips from this string cheese, which is no fun at all. The flavor is also virtually nonexistent. It's still something to do for those who like hand food and only 50 calories, but I'd spring for any other string cheese option if possible.

Wise White Cheddar Popcorn

Cheese popcorn is not among my favorite snacks -- I'd much rather have cheese, or plain popcorn. However, as far as white cheddar popcorns go, this is a good one. The kernels have a good texture, and if they didn't have cheese powder on them it'd be awesome because they're perfectly popped - no hulls or burnt parts. (OK, there are a few unpopped kernels in there, but such is life). That's not to say that the coating tastes BAD, in fact it probably tastes pretty good, I just don't want to eat a whole bag of it!! Tastes exactly how you'd expect White Cheddar Popcorn in a Bag to taste, so if that's your favorite, you should 100% buy this. It's a good snack to have on hand and it's probably healthier than chips.

Fage Greek Yogurt (Strawberry)

Mm, yogurt. Ha ha, just kidding! Yogurt is OK, but I don't love it like everyone else does. That said, I've certainly tried many brands of yogurt, Greek & not-Greek, and I think Fage is my favorite. It's also usually the same low price as the other ones, so there's no reason not to grab one as a filling, not-too-unhealthy snack. They have 0% and 2% varieties, but the 2% tastes much better, so I'd say it's worth the extra 40 calories or whatever.

I think the strawberry is my favorite flavor, though I also like peach and cherry. (Plain is a little rough). The yogurt is tangy and creamy, and the fruit is sweet and has real fruit bits, but is just enough to leave you wanting a tiny bit more. Overall a snack I never regret getting, but I never really crave it.

Voga Moscato Wine

OK, I know what you're thinking, "wine never contains nuts"! Well, all the more reason to drink it, right? A friend brought this to my place for a party, and now I'm drinking it and am gonna have to thank her for bringing this into my life, because it's delicious and very cheap. Plus, the bottle is only 750ml and has a lid instead of a cork, so it's perfect for the single life (my current life). Anyway, enough about me!

The taste is basically champagne without the fizz. It's definitely a dessert wine, very sweet, but also not cloying. It's a very mild, fruity, pleasant flavor, and it's actually much better chilled. Next time I buy wine, I'm probably going to go for this! Thanks Irene!

Nando's Peri-Peri Sauce (Medium)

Well, well, well. I got this in a Degustabox and I was pretty excited, because everyone loves Nando's but I've never gone since I know they serve nuts. (I've heard they're quite good about allergens if you inform them, but it seems quite the hassle for some chicken). Anyway, excited to try this sauce, I bought an entire chicken, dumped it on there, and heated it up. It was pretty good. Spicy but not very spicy (it is medium, after all), a bit creamy, and overall a nice taste that's a little more unique than a garden variety hot sauce. This bottle isn't actually that much sauce, since I used it in like 2 weeks or ~4 chickens! My favorite is one chicken breast grilled in this on 2 small potato buns. Livin' the dream.

MadeGood Granola Minis (Mixed Berry)

Hey there, fans of peanut-free food! It's been a while, I know. But I got these recently and thought they were really good! Unfortunately, when trying to track them down, it seems that they are a Canadian company with products only available at Whole Foods in the US, or possibly on Delta airplanes (am I crazy, or is that a terrible match for fans of peanut-free food though?)! Anyway, though it may have been a one-time love affair, these granola bites are delicious. They're very sweet and chewy and have nice chunks of fruit in there, but overall the taste is just regular granola - which I think should really be the ultimate goal with these "organic 8x allergen free GMO gluten free etcetc" products. So, they're tasty. And apparently there's vegetables inside, which is hilarious, though you can't taste it at all. They're also really cute and convenient to eat. No crumbs! I'd be very curious to try the other flavors, all of which are nut-free and sound good.
